Irene Farm
Irene Farm ligger blot 10 km fra Pretoria og et et fantastisk sted at bruge en halv eller en hel lørdag. Når man ankommer bliver man mødt af en smuk have, gamle landbrugsmaskiner og en passende duft af stedets kvæg, der går på de omkringliggende marker. Børnene kan frit boltre sig på gamle traktorer, snakke med kalve eller høns, fodre ænder, lege på legepladsen og i det store hele få løbet lidt rundt. Der er to restauranter på stedet, så der er rig mulighed for at slå sig ned i skyggen og få lidt lækker frokost og et godt glas vin.
Just a 15 minutes drive from Pretoria you’ll find Irene Farm. When arriving at the farm you’re met by a beautiful garden, ancient agricultural machinery and you’ll quickly sense the authentic smell from the farm’s cows, which are grazing on nearby fields. The kids will have fun pretending to drive the old tractors, petting the calves and chickens and exploring the playground. There are two restaurants that will cater to both your and your kids’ needs, when you need a well-deserved break in the shade with a glass of wine.

Hyto Tyto
Hyto Tyto er et stort legeområde for børn. Der er både et indendørs og et udendørs legeområde, som omfatter bl.a. forhindringsbaner, en motocross cykelbane, rutsjebaner, minitog, svævebaner, hoppepude, gynger og så videre i den dur. Udenfor kan forældrene læne sig tilbage omkring et bord i skyggen, hvorfra man fint kan holde øje med ungerne. Man kan bestille både morgenmad og frokost i restauranten og blive kølet ned med en smoothie eller en farverig slush-ice.
Hyto Tyto offers a brilliant kids play area and eatery with an epic bike track, train rides, slides and lots of tracks to explore. There’s both an indoor and an outdoor playground, so when the sun is burning too much, kids can continue their playing inside for hours. You can order breakfast and lunch from the restaurant.
